JUST THE GOODS

Hello,

I have absolutely nothing profound to say to you today. I’m gonna give you some hot goss, then we’ll pick it back up next week and strap in because we’re going to be doing a deep dive into West Elm Caleb, online harassment, and what it means when people cross the line on TikTok. Do I hate Caleb? Yah DUH I hate Caleb. Do I think what happened to him was uncool? Also YAH DUH. I don’t want to spill the beans before we get too deep into it but “West Elm Caleb” is currently a viral TikTok conversation stemming from one TikTok-er who had a bad date. Then a bunch of women realized they all dated the same guy in NYC. It’s like Couch Guy. We’ll talk more. Do some research, prepare your opinion, get your popcorn ready. We’ll talk.

Sneak peek of West Elm Caleb

Lest you all forget, I am an internet CRITIC. I do not just blindly love the metaverse. I’m not a complete simp for TikTok (all of the time). I do not wear an Oculus and wander around my home glued to a world outside my existence. And there are plenty of times when I have to wonder WHY ON THIS GREEN EARTH the internet behaves the way it does. West Elm Caleb was one of those moments.

Ok longer letter later,

here’s the goods:

There’s more. I did my best. I DID MY BEST.
